November 2007 Colorado Voter Opinions on the Judiciary Executive Summary
The Colorado Voter Opinions on the Judiciary , telephone survey of 726 registered Colorado voters was conducted in July 2007, on behalf of the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS) and the League of Women Voters of Colorado Education Fund (LWVCO Ed Fund).
The two organizations co-sponsored the survey to better understand voter knowledge and opinions of Colorado's judiciary.
Water Quality
AWARE ( A ddressing W ater A nd Natural R esource E ducation) is a LWVCO Education Fund program. It is funded by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment through a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. AWARE is to raise awareness among local decision makers about the impacts of land use choices on water quality. The project focuses on tools and strategies that lessen the impact of impervious surfaces on water quality. The website of AWARE, www.awarecolorado.org provides updates several times a year about upcoming events, new resources and recent articles. The updates are e-mailed to interested subscribers.
