Join the League of Women Voters of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties for a Candidate Forum Featuring South Suburban Parks and Recreation District Candidates in-person on Saturday, April 9 at 1:30 PM at the Sports Complex at County Line and Holly in the Boardroom. Nine candidates will vie for three open Director positions, which have three-year terms. The three open Director positions are part of the District's five-member Board of Directors. Candidates will answer questions designed to help voters understand their positions on important issues, so don't miss this opportunity to meet these candidates for the May 3 Special District Election. Residents may vote in person at the South Suburban Sports Complex or Goodson Recreation Center, or request an absentee ballot. Applications for absentee ballots for the May 3 election must be submitted to the DEO by close of business on Tuesday, April 26.
