For our May meeting, the LWVCO Climate Emergency Task Force, we encourage everyone to register for and attend Beyond Plastics' presentation "Microplastics' Impact on the Brain and Heart" free online. Recent studies have found small fragments of plastics known as microplastics in the human brain and heart arteries and have also shown a link between the presence of microplastics and adverse health outcomes.
