Women's Equality Day is August 26th!
The State League and many of our Local Leagues have events planned, so mark your calendars and celebrate!
 
If you're interested in helping the LWVCO at the Center for Colorado Women's History Equality Day Celebration, we need a few volunteers to help greet, introduce, and share information about the League!
 
PLEASE NOTE: Though the event is from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, we only need 2-hour blocks from each volunteer.

WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY is celebrated in the United States on August 26 to commemorate the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which prohibits the states and the federal government from denying the right to vote to citizens of the United States on the basis of sex.

Women's Equality Day Celebration
The League of Women Voters of Colorado will be at the Center for Colorado Women's History for their Equality Day Celebration!

Tour the historic house onsite open-house style, spend time with phenomenal women that have lead Colorado's activist movements in their exhibit Vision and Resolve, or learn about community resiliency in their victory garden. Activities also include crafts and displays by vendors.

We are honored that Horsefly Brewing Company named us the beneficiary of their Community Tap Night. 

Horsefly will donate $1 for each beverage sold on the 22nd. Their generous support sustains the League’s ongoing work to educate, advocate and empower all citizens to participate in the upcoming November election.
