Abortion Resource Stickers Available
 
We have QR Code stickers available for you to distribute.  They have been spotted as far away as Utah, in a woman's restroom.  Anywhere a woman's freedom of choice has been restricted, or removed is a great spot to use them.  If you are looking for some, send an email to info@lwvcolorado.org.  Our Operations Manager, will send them via USPS.  

Gun Violence Prevention Events
A Weekend of Gun Violence Prevention
 
There is a community event in Fort Collins with activities starting Friday evening, September 8 going through to Saturday September 9, 2023.  There will be both an educational portion, and a Safe Surrender Event to help remove more guns from the public.

Launch of the 2023 U.S. Prosperity Index
 
The Legatum Institute has invited you to sign up for the launch of the 2023 U.S. Prosperity Index on September 13, 2023 at 11:00 am ET | 8 am PT and 4pm BST.
 
A key barometer of American society, the index pinpoints opportunities to further enhance prosperity at a state and county level.  Now in its 5th year, the Index is already being used by various state and community-based organizations to set agendas for transformation and monitor the impact of interventions.
 
The event will explore the key findings of this year's Index.  Register here and further details will follow.
